Job summary

ENGIE North America seeks a Sales Representative III in Houston, TX to prospect and acquire new Commercial and Industrial customers within the ERCOT region. You will self-originate opportunities, validate credit data, and tailor proposals to load patterns while collaborating with internal teams.

The role requires five years of business experience in retail energy sales, strong negotiation skills, and bilingual English/Spanish advantages.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of business experience in retail energy sales or developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
• Direct sales experience, ideally within the retail energy industry.
• Persuasive communication, effective negotiation skills, and interaction with executive-level decision-makers.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is advantageous.
• Hybrid work policy with some in-office presence; domestic travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer creditworthiness according to Credit Guidelines and gather data for credit risk analysis.
• Gather consumption data and account information to tailor price proposals to customer needs.
• Master ENGIE product offerings and align proposals with customer requirements.
• Propose tailored electricity supply offers, negotiate terms, and close transactions with cross-functional collaboration.
