Job summary

Lithko Contracting is hiring an entry-level Project Engineer for on-site work at our Columbus, OH locations. You will learn concrete construction fundamentals under a dedicated manager and mentors, gaining hands-on experience across safety, quality, and project execution.

Our integration program supports rapid skill development, with many PEs promoted within a year. You will join a team that builds, collaborates, and grows through practical, field-based learning and evolving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to work on construction sites and travel as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope and schedule with guidance from managers and mentors.
• Develop plans to execute work objectives, track progress, and replan based on feedback.
• Manage daily safety, quality, and execution of work objectives on site.
• Learn through hands-on field performance with Lithko teams and the project execution process.
• Duties may evolve to include estimating, field engineering (line and grade), formwork, inspections, loadout, placement/finishing, slab prep, quantity take-offs, and safety tasks.
• Demonstrate a drive to excel and be action-oriented, collaborative, and growth-minded.
