Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Building Mechanical/HVAC Systems to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team across the country. You’ll have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to solve today’s challenges.

You’ll work on projects that bring innovative solutions to clients by performing field investigations, interfacing with clients and vendors, sizing equipment, and preparing construction design packages, including design criteria, AFDs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of start.
• Prior work experience with a design firm in an internship or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors.
• Size and select equipment for buildings and facilities.
• Prepare construction design packages including design criteria, AFDs, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with other trades under guidance of Professional Engineers.
• Deliver tasks on schedule with technical quality.
