Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Building Mechanical/HVAC Systems to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team.

You’ll apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges, develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs) and P&IDs, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver design packages on schedule. This position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to work on projects across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CADD.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs) and P&IDs.
• Provide system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate designs with other trades under the guidance of Professional Engineers.
• Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
