Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to support Building Mechanical/HVAC systems within our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team across the country. You’ll apply your coursework to solve real-world challenges on projects that serve clients locally and worldwide.

You’ll help develop design criteria, create Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs) and P&IDs, perform system design calculations, and coordinate with other trades under Professional Engineer guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs.
• Provide system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate with other trades under PE guidance.
• Progress from basic to more complex design tasks with a technical team.
• Contribute to schedule, budget, and client expectations.
