Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to support Building Mechanical/HVAC systems on Advanced Facilities Data Centers projects across the country. You will apply theory to real-world challenges, perform field investigations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver design packages.

You will develop design criteria, AFDS, and P&IDs and provide related calculations, while coordinating with other trades under Professional Engineer guidance to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations and interface with clients & vendors.
• Size and select equipment and prepare construction design packages.
• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs; provide system design calculations.
• Coordinate with other trades under the guidance of Professional Engineers.
• Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks and progress with client expectations.
