Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for facilities and data centers. You will perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size equipment, and prepare design packages under PE guidance.

Develop AFDs and P&IDs, provide system calculations, and coordinate with architectural and engineering teams. The position supports a hybrid work model and growth within a multidisciplinary group.

Qualifications

• Design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Ability to develop design criteria and P&IDs.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations and interface with clients & vendors.
• Size and select equipment and prepare construction design packages.
• Develop Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs) and P&IDs; provide design calculations.
• Coordinate with other trades under Professional Engineers guidance.
• Ensure schedule, budget, and quality of engineering tasks.
