Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team, focusing on Building Mechanical/HVAC systems. You will apply theory to real-world challenges, work with engineers and designers, and contribute to field investigations, equipment sizing, and construction design packages.

You will create design criteria, AFDs, and P&IDs, perform design calculations, and collaborate with trades under Professional Engineers guidance to deliver projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs.
• Provide system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering trades under Professional Engineers guidance.
• Deliver and manage design tasks with schedule and quality.
• Progress from basic to more complex design work with a technical team.
