Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team across the country. You will design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, and apply 3D CADD on real projects with guidance from Professional Engineers.

You’ll develop design criteria, AFDS and P&IDs, perform calculations, and coordinate with other trades to ensure timely, accurate deliverables. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CADD.
• Visa sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs) and P&IDs as part of building mechanical systems.
• Provide system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering trades under Professional Engineers guidance.
• Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks for projects.
