Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team. You will develop design criteria, AFDS, and P&IDs, and perform system design calculations for building mechanical systems including HVAC and piping.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with architectural and engineering designs under Professional Engineers. This role offers a hybrid work model with opportunities across the country and growth into more complex project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CADD.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs.
• Provide system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate designs with other trades under Professional Engineers guidance.
• Progress from basic to more complex design tasks with a technical team.
