Job summary

Selector AI is seeking a Customer Engineer to own the technical success of large-scale digital infrastructure deployments. You will guide customers from PoC to production, drive adoption, and expand platform capabilities while acting as a trusted technical advisor to executives and engineers.

You will translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, lead architecture reviews, and work with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure successful rollout and ongoing value

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Customer Engineering, Professional Services, or Network Engineering).
• Deep expertise in enterprise networking: BGP, MPLS, IGPs, Traffic Engineering, SD-WAN, Wireless, SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow/sFlow/IPFIX, telemetry (gNMI/OpenConfig), and REST APIs.
• Experience deploying or supporting enterprise observability, AIOps, network management, or infrastructure monitoring platforms; demonstrated success with Fortune 500 / large enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, and modern infrastructure architecture; experience translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills; travel 10–20% for customer engagements and onsite meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own technical success: be the primary technical advisor from POC through production, adoption, and expansion; build trusted relationships with customer architects, engineering leaders, and executives; run technical success plans.
• Lead technical strategy & execution: own the technical architecture for assigned accounts, minimize technical debt; translate business requirements into detailed specs and engineering-ready work items; lead architecture reviews, workshops, onboarding, and complex production troubleshooting across networking, observability, integrations, APIs, and AI-driven workflows.
• Drive cross-functional outcomes: partner with CSMs, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to align technical execution with business objectives; act as the customer's technical advocate on product feedback and roadmap priorities.
