Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Enterprise Systems Instructional Designer to design, build, and deliver technical learning and lab exercises across data center technologies. You will map training to certification paths and partner with Technical Training managers to drive adoption and business results.

You will develop learning assets in multiple formats, create engaging courses, and ensure alignment with the learning strategy, working with global stakeholders and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in adult learning, instructional design, or related technical field.
• 5+ years progressive experience developing and delivering high impact technical training programs in data center technologies.
• 5+ years' proven project management skills including planning, prioritizing, executing, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with global stakeholders and managers.
• Experienced facilitator with virtual/online delivery expertise and multimedia skills.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and ADDIE model.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver high-profile Services training programs in instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and lab formats.
• Collaborate with program managers, instructors, SMEs to create high-quality courses and materials.
• Create engaging training across multiple media for diverse learning styles.
• Incorporate adult learning theory best practices into course development.
• Support new product launches with timely training aligned to field needs.
• Model excellent customer service and teamwork in development and maintenance processes.
• Interact with business and team members regarding distance education courses and issues.
• Identify target personas to tailor instruction effectively.
• Produce courses on time in line with learning strategy.
• Design and evaluate Kirkpatrick evaluations.
• Ensure alignment of learner experience with our mission.
