Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Technical Instructor for Infrastructure Solutions to deliver hands-on training to field technicians, installers, customers, and service partners on our power, cooling, and modular solutions. You will craft labs, update materials, and lead virtual and in-person courses across data center infrastructure.

With 5+ years of hands-on field experience and a technical degree, you will translate complex concepts into accessible training, manage labs, and travel up to 30% to customer

Qualifications

• Two-year electrical or mechanical degree or equivalent training/experience.
• 5+ years hands-on electrical/mechanical installation or field service experience.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems (switchgear, busway, etc.).
• Reading electrical one-lines and installation drawings.
• Experience with adult learning theory or military trainer background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to teach adults.

Responsibilities

• Instruct field service safety and technical classes on power distribution, cooling distribution, and modular systems.
• Prepare classrooms and labs; deliver classroom and virtual training.
• Develop and update course materials; participate in NPD and training needs analyses.
• Maintain classrooms and training lab equipment; ensure safety and proper operation.
• Travel to training sites as required; complete admin tasks and evaluations.
