Job summary

Navstar Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and deliver advanced technical training for enterprise IT environments.

The role involves building instructor-led and blended learning content, labs, and assessments, and coordinating across engineering, writing, and program support teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows and Linux server environments, Cisco networking platforms, and DoD/government training programs.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in technical training and related areas.
• Minimum 5 years in instructional systems design or curriculum development.
• Experience building technical training for enterprise IT, networking, or server environments.
• Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) experience.
• Linux system administration experience.
• Experience delivering instructor-led technical training across platforms.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience developing technical documentation and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led and blended learning solutions.
• Develop technical training content for server, network, and platform administration.
• Deliver competency-based training for users of technical systems.
• Analyze engineering docs to identify training needs.
• Create lesson plans, instructor guides, student guides, job aids, labs, and assessments.
• Conduct training effectiveness evaluations and reporting.
• Support content validation, pilots, and updates.
• Maintain product documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate development activities with engineering and program teams.
