Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Training Specialist to design, develop, and lead manufacturing training programs that align with business goals. You will partner with leaders and SMEs to create effective curricula, standardize content, and analyze data to drive improvements across locations.

The role includes managing LMS activities, supporting new product training, coaching trainers, and traveling to facilities to ensure workforce readiness. Strong instructional design and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Strong ability to design, organize, and improvetrainingprograms that support operational and business goals.
• Proven experience assessing learning needs and developing structured training solutions.
• Solid understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning concepts, and blended learning approaches.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and continuously improve training programs that support manufacturing operations and business goals.
• Assess learning needs and translate them into structured trainings, including curricula and materials.
• Develop and standardize training content, processes, and frameworks for consistency and scalability.
• Analyze training data and learner feedback to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with leaders and SMEs to align initiatives with priorities.
• Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions and support training team development.
