Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes is hiring a Solutions Engineer to support the US Commercial East / Mid-Atlantic region. You will partner with sales to present ThousandEyes in opportunities, run trials, educate customers and the sales team on capabilities, and expand market awareness of ThousandEyes.

You will scope deployments, present to decision makers, and collaborate across Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience.
• Experience selling into Fortune 500 or other enterprise organizations.
• Experience working with application and network protocols, including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP.
• Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructure.
• Experience working with unified communications technologies or solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical sales process and assist sales in technical prospecting to uncover opportunities.
• Demonstrate the solution to showcase capabilities and use-cases and build strong customer relationships.
• Scope and architect deployment solutions and present to decision makers during trial wrap-up meetings.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and quarterly business review sales meetings and share know-how.
• Interface with Marketing to support events, blog posts, white papers, and case studies.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering from hands-on use and customer interaction.
• Coordinate with Customer Success to provide post-sales training and ongoing support.
