Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking an exceptional Solutions Engineer to support the Federal segment. You will be the customer interface for new technology, work with the sales team, and demonstrate ThousandEyes to executives during trials.

This role interfaces with Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Customer Success to drive deployments, feedback, and expansion of ThousandEyes in the federal market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience.
• Experience selling into US Federal customers.
• Experience with application and network protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP).
• Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting app and network infrastructure.
• Experience with unified communications technologies or solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales in technical prospecting and uncover opportunities.
• Demonstrate solution capabilities and use-cases.
• Build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with customers.
• Support customers during solution trials and deployments.
• Interface with Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering.
