Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Global Enterprise Team in a pre-sales capacity, acting as a trusted advisor to top enterprise customers. You will demonstrate Cisco product solutions, set up demonstrations, and design configurations to meet client needs.

You will collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to present solutions, translate business priorities into technical outcomes, and contribute to formal sales plans and RFP responses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting experience.
• Cisco product experience or knowledge of competitor offerings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CCNA) or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a customer Account Team in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco solutions and configuring products to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures by aligning opportunities with customer challenges and priorities.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Product Specialists to present solutions and support architecture development for global customers.
• Act as a consultative technical advisor for the account team and customers.
• Stay up-to-date on Cisco innovations and competitors’ solutions and assist with development and execution of formal sales plans and RFPs.
