Job summary
Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Global Enterprise Premier Segment in the Phoenix area. You will work on a customer account team in a pre-sales capacity, demonstrating Cisco products, shaping architecture, and delivering tailored demonstrations to enterprise customers.
The role requires regular travel within AZ, deep technical knowledge in data center, collaboration, security or routing/switching, and the ability to translate technology into business value.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles.
- Cisco product experience or familiarity with competitors.
- Proven ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
- CCIE/CCNP certifications are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Be a member of a customer Account Team in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco solutions and configuring products to meet customer needs.
- Demonstrate Cisco services and architectures to align opportunities with customer challenges and priorities.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other SEs to present solutions and support architecture development for global customers.
- Act as a trusted technical adviser and stay up-to-date on competitors’ solutions and Cisco technologies.
- Develop formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
