Job summary

Stripe, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with customers and drive growth across Stripe’s product portfolio.

You will build trusted relationships with C-level and technical decision-makers, architect end-to-end business solutions, and guide strategic initiatives that expand Stripe’s footprint in global markets. You will work with account teams to define customer strategy, conduct executive briefings, and lead engagements across product, engineering, and sales.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer for a global software enterprise.
• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales.
• Experience in the payments/ billing / invoicing / issuing / banking / Fintech space.
• Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers.
• Group facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer meetings.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architectures; coding in Stripe’s primary languages is a plus.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of a Stripe account team with deep involvement in defining the customer strategy.
• Identify and close new complex opportunities, and accelerate solution adoption; align with the customer’s roadmap.
• Drive thought leadership and be a trusted advisor for senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Design end-to-end customer transformation journeys and create future roadmaps with deep 3rd party integrations.
• Conduct business analysis and background research on customers, industries, and competitors.
• Lead strategy engagements to align to business priorities and secure the technical win.
