Cisco Systems, Inc. in the New York metro area seeks a Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted advisor on pre-sales for Enterprise customers. You will design and demonstrate Cisco solutions, aligning technical outcomes with customers’ business goals and collaborating with account teams to craft winning proposals.

The role requires 5+ years in technical sales or pre-sales, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and certifications such as CCIE/CCNP/CCNA. Regular travel to NYC-based customers is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings.
• Pre-sales experience, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CCNA) or equivalent are highly desirable.

• Demonstrate Cisco product solutions through demonstrations and tailored configurations.
