Job summary

Aerospike is seeking an enterprise-focused Solutions Engineer to drive adoption of our real-time data platform across North America. You’ll lead architecture design, translate complex requirements into scalable blueprints, and demonstrate compelling value through rigorous proofs and engagements.

In this pre-sales role, you’ll partner with account teams, guide executive discussions, and shape technical strategy from discovery through post-sale deployment.

Qualifications

• Executive presence with credibility with C-level leaders.
• Deep expertise in NoSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput workloads.
• Linux knowledge and high-concurrency systems.
• Experience guiding architecture reviews and POCs.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into architecture.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design multi-region architectures.
• Master the data plane across databases and platforms.
• Sell architecture and business value to customers.
• Design and lead POCs, benchmarks, and architecture reviews.
• Shape deal strategy with account teams.
• Diagnose customer problems and develop practical solutions.
• Capture field insights to influence product and engineering.
• Represent Aerospike at workshops and industry events.
• Code with credibility in Java, C/C++, Python, or Go.
