Aerospike is seeking a technically sharp Solutions Engineer to drive adoption of our real-time data platform across North America. In this pre-sales role, you’ll translate enterprise requirements into scalable blueprints and demonstrate clear value to customers.

Based in North America, you’ll serve as the principal technical advisor through the sales lifecycle, from discovery to validation of architecture and post-sale deployment strategy. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Strong executive presence and communication for C-level interactions.
• Deep expertise in NoSQL, relational DBs, distributed systems, and data platforms.
• Hands-on Linux experience with high-throughput systems.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, HBase, HDFS, Hive, Impala.
• Proven ability to lead POCs, benchmarks, and architecture reviews.
• Willing to travel up to 30% across North America.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical discovery and design multi-region architectures that solve demanding data, scale, latency, and resilience requirements.
• Bring deep expertise in databases, distributed systems, data platforms, and high-throughput workloads—and communicate decisions clearly.
• Connect technical choices to business value, ROI, and customer data strategy.
• Design and lead rigorous POCs, benchmarks, whiteboard sessions, demos, and architecture reviews to validate performance and impact.
• Partner with Account Executives to shape deal strategy and manage stakeholders.
