Gusto is seeking a deep technical Solutions Engineer to own qualification and demo strategy for the highest-MRR enterprise opportunities. You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Product, shape the integration roadmap, and mentor teammates as you drive complex API-focused deals.

You will serve as the technical anchor across multiple routes to market, owning end-to-end qualification, debugging, and delivery for multi-system integrations while guiding less experienced teammates toward scalable

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years in a senior technical/solutions-architecture role.
• Fluency in Salesforce (or comparable CRM) and Gusto's integration stack; diagnose root causes across systems.
• Proven ability to scope and resolve ambiguous technical/API problems and identify real product gaps.
• Track record designing and implementing complex integration-heavy solutions for enterprise customers.
• Able to serve as technical point of contact with Engineering and Product, writing clear escalations.
• Mentorship and ability to raise the technical bar for a broader team.

• Own deep technical scoping and enterprise requests — sole owner of qualification and demo strategy for top opportunities.
• Manage product/intent escalations with reproduction steps and context; own end-to-end resolution path.
• Maintain partnership with Engineering and Product to surface tooling gaps and influence the roadmap.
• Act as SE-side partner in premium/large-opportunity management (PLO).
• Set the technical standard for the team; coach on deal strategy and long-term resolution; train new hires.
• Own delivery path on scoped builds; route work to the right resource; uphold commitments to customers.
• Architect and validate integration/API solutions across systems, including GL mapping, time-tracking, payroll, and third-party integrations.
