Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a Sales Engineer to assess customer requirements and apply deep knowledge of Chainguard products to illustrate how deals meet client needs. You will cultivate relationships with decision-makers and drive technical wins through demos, POVs, and POCs.

The role involves partnering with Sales, acquiring new logos, and owning all technical aspects of opportunities. Boston-area candidates only; remote-friendly with a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years selling into Enterprise and Mid Market prospects.
• Experience with MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message frameworks.
• Experience in container technologies and cloud security (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure/Google).
• Startup experience and ability to act as trusted advisor to clients.
• Must be located in the Boston area.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to evaluate and prove the value of Chainguard solutions.
• Acquire new customer logos while growing the existing base.
• Own all technical aspects of sales opportunities and articulate value to customers.
