Job summary

Major League Hacking (MLH) is seeking a Partnerships Manager to build and grow its professional-conferences program and support sourcing for enterprise training hackathons at large companies. In this outbound, relationship-driven role you will identify conferences, source enterprise opportunities, pitch partnerships, and guide deals from first contact to signed agreements.

You’ll work with internal teams to ensure success, attend early events to learn the model, and help shape a scalable

Qualifications

• Experience in partnerships, DevRel, events, community, or conference programming.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue professional conferences where MLH can create value.
• Source enterprise hackathon opportunities at large established companies, training-focused events distinct from our student hackathons.
• Lead outbound outreach to conference organizers, corporate partners, and other decision-makers.
• Pitch the program, negotiate participation, and move partnerships through to signed agreements.
• Own relationships from first conversation through delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure each engagement is set up for success.
• You should expect to attend early events to learn the model firsthand, but on-site execution isn't the core of this role.
• Help shape the partnership playbook as the program grows.
