Job summary

Red Hat is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our team in Germany. You will provide personalized, attentive support and mentorship to a select set of enterprise customers, developing deep technical understanding of their Red Hat deployments and business goals.

You will collaborate with Support, Engineering, and Product teams, advocating for customers and guiding product adoption while ensuring a positive cloud tech experience and long-term success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organisation.
• Expertise with enterprise cloud solutions like OpenShift, Kubernetes, CloudForms and Ansible.
• Ability to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships by delivering proactive support.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture and strategic business drivers.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with attention to detail.
• Direct experience with hardware vendors.
• Experience with presentation delivery.
• Fluent verbal and written German communication skills.
• Experience in system management, cloud or server virtualization.
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline; RHCE cert is a plus.
• Prior experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role.

Responsibilities

• Become a Red Hat technical ambassador, building relationships with a small set of customers.
• Provide personalized support and mentorship to enterprise customers.
• Deliver portfolio updates and assist upgrades of offerings.
• Advise customers on technology changes and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct technical investigations to identify root causes and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on customer needs and incidents.
• Create engagement plans and maintain up-to-date environment documentation.
• Engage with engineering, field teams, and partners to ensure cloud success.
