Job summary

You will work with Support Delivery, Engineering, and Product Management to resolve incidents, drive upgrades, and shape the cloud roadmap. German language fluency and travel as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support, development, engineering, or QA organisation.
• Expertise with enterprise cloud solutions like OpenShift, containers, Kubernetes, CloudForms, and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Ability to manage and grow enterprise customer relationships with proactive, relationship-based support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture and business drivers.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with attention to detail.
• Direct experience with hardware vendors and with presenting to groups.
• Fluency in German (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Become a Red Hat technical ambassador for a small set of customers using OpenShift.
• Deliver portfolio updates and assist with upgrades; advise on technology changes and potential disruptions.
• Conduct technical investigations to identify root causes and solutions.
• Provide guidance on current and future use of Red Hat offerings.
• Perform technical reviews and share knowledge to prevent issues.
• Manage customer use cases and maintain documentation.
• Create customer engagement plans and keep environment docs updated.
• Handle customer escalations with Red Hat and customer teams.
• Collaborate with Red Hat engineering to develop solutions and guide product adoption.
• Engage with field teams, customers, and partners for a positive cloud experience.
• Align with Red Hat cloud strategy and present periodic operational reviews.
• Deliver presentations to customer leadership and stakeholders.
• Travel as needed to visit customers or internal events.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors.
