Job summary

TEKsystems in Clinton, IN is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide hands-on end‑user support across hardware, software, and peripherals in a high-demand enterprise setting. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and connectivity for about 500 users and 200+ devices, manage tickets, and collaborate with a small IT team to ensure timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years IT Support experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting large user populations and multiple business systems.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting modern desktop operating systems.
• Familiarity with productivity suites, collaboration platforms, printers, and peripheral device support.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for end users, including hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and connectivity issues.
• Manage and close support tickets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support approximately 500 users and 200+ devices in a dynamic environment.
• Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, and system configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, productivity applications, collaboration tools, and end‑user devices.
• Collaborate with a small IT team to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Document troubleshooting steps and maintain accurate support records.
