Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on end-user support in Merrill, WI. The role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, fulfilling service requests, deploying devices, and maintaining IT asset inventories.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of endpoint support experience and an Associate degree in IT or a related field. This is a fully onsite contract-to-hire position with structured onboarding and opportunities to grow within TEKsystems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting endpoint computing environments.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user break/fix support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Track, document, and communicate the status and resolution of technical incidents and service requests.
• Support IMAC for end-user technology environments.
• Deliver Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other peripherals.
• Assist with IT asset management processes including inventory tracking and device lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues to ensure timely issue resolution and service improvement.
