Job summary

Cohesity is seeking an Account Executive to develop and grow a defined territory in the data security and AI-powered resilience space. This hands-on role focuses on prospecting, pipeline building, and closing opportunities, while supporting expansion of existing accounts.

You will work with stakeholders and technologists, collaborating with partners like NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, and AWS to drive deal execution and market reach.

Qualifications

• Proven sale experience to information security/cybersecurity teams with enterprise security knowledge.
• Customer-focused mindset with interest in cybersecurity and data protection.
• Experience selling enterprise technology solutions (infrastructure, SaaS or related).
• Track record with net-new acquisition and growing existing accounts.
• Foundational understanding of data security and backup technologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory plan focused on net-new logo acquisition and account growth.
• Build, manage, and advance a qualified sales pipeline with direct and partner-sourced opportunities.
• Identify stakeholders, build relationships, and engage senior decision-makers.
• Lead customer engagements through discovery, evaluation, and proposal development.
• Develop and deliver clear, value-based proposals tying Cohesity platforms to customer needs.
• Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances to expand market reach.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting; contribute to quarterly goals.
• Share customer insights and competitive feedback with sales and product teams.
