Job summary

Cohesity is seeking an Account Executive in the United States to grow a defined territory in enterprise security and AI-powered resilience. This hands-on role emphasizes prospecting, pipeline building, and closing opportunities while supporting existing accounts.

You will engage with senior decision-makers, develop value-based proposals, and collaborate with channel partners including NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to security teams and aligning solutions to risk requirements.
• Customer-focused mindset with cybersecurity and data protection interest.
• Proven enterprise technology solutions sales experience.
• Success in net-new acquisition and growing existing accounts.
• Foundational knowledge of data security and backup technologies.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute a territory plan focused on net-new logo acquisition and account growth.
• Build, manage, and progress a qualified sales pipeline, including partner-supported deals.
• Engage with senior decision-makers and stakeholders within complex organizations.
• Lead customer engagements through discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment.
• Develop and deliver value-based proposals connecting Cohesity’s platform to security and resilience needs.
• Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances to support deal execution and expand market reach.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and quarterly forecasting.
• Share customer insights and competitive feedback with the wider sales and product teams.
