Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Tableau Account Executive for Higher Education to drive analytics adoption within community colleges. You will engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the Analytics platform, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and executives to demonstrate value from Salesforce investments.

You will develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace, coordinate internal resources, and manage complex sales cycles, ultimately leading to quota

Qualifications

• 10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience.
• Experience working with matrixed teams including AEs, SEs, and sales leaders.
• Strong execution, urgency, and belief in Tableau mission.
• Ability to articulate value and navigate complex customer environments.
• Education or equivalent experience evaluated for core competencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop key stakeholder relationships and drive satisfaction at assigned accounts.
• Assist with long-term account strategy aligned to customer objectives.
• Coordinate resources to meet customer needs across product support, CS, and sales engineering.
• Coordinate with other sales resources to ensure strategic alignment for accounts.
• Manage complex sales cycles and present Tableau value to C-level executives.
• Develop territory/account plans and meet/exceed quotas through prospecting and closing.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across multiple opportunities.
