Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Tableau Account Executive for Higher Education (Community Colleges) in Chicago to drive the analytics platform at scale. You will manage existing customers and new leads, build trusted relationships with stakeholders and C-suite, and articulate the value of Tableau within Salesforce investments.

You'll develop opportunities from warm leads and whitespace, coordinate with product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer objectives and exceed quotas.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales experience.
• Experience with enterprise accounts.
• Ability to engage with C-level executives.
• Strong solution selling capabilities.
• Team collaboration in matrixed environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.
• Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives.
• Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs.
• Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources to ensure strategic alignment.
• Manage complex sales cycles and present to C-level executives the value proposition of Tableau platform.
• Define and complete territory/account sales plans and exceed quotas through prospecting and closing opportunities.
• Develop and manage sales pipeline across multiple opportunities.
