Job summary

Runlayer is seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer to own the technical side of customer GTM. You will run POCs, troubleshoot integrations, and work closely with enterprise customers to get them live.

You’ll lead pre-sales deep dives, architecture discussions, and onboarding workshops, becoming the technical expert during sales cycles and delivering outcomes with high ownership and velocity.

Qualifications

• Background in solutions engineering, pre-sales or consulting with technical depth.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and discussing architecture, memory and tooling.
• Ability to own customer outcomes end-to-end in enterprise contexts.
• Strong CS background and the ability to write and debug production code.

Responsibilities

• Own POC outcomes for enterprise customers.
• Run pre-sales technical deep dives, demos and architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot integrations across customer environments (identity, security, networking).
• Build custom configurations and one-off solutions when standard paths don’t fit.
• Lead technical onboarding sessions and adoption workshops.
• Be the technical expert in sales cycles, handling advanced questions.
