Job summary

Callière Group in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer to turn interest into live usage. You will lead POCs, debug complex integrations, and partner with customer engineering and security teams to move from prototype to production.

You'll own customer outcomes, run pre-sales deep dives, demos, and architecture sessions, and design custom configurations when standard paths fall short. A strong CS or software engineering background is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in forward-deployed/solutions/sales engineering roles.
• Strong CS or software engineering background.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI agents or AI-powered workflows.
• Deep knowledge in identity, security, or observability.
• Proficient reading, writing, and debugging production-grade code.
• Open-source work or talks related to agents, identity, policy, or security.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise POC technical outcomes from scoping to success.
• Run pre-sales deep dives, demos, and architecture sessions with client teams.
• Troubleshoot integrations in complex environments (identity, networking, security, observability).
• Design and build custom configurations when standard paths are insufficient.
• Run onboarding sessions to enable customer engineers on the platform.
• Be the go-to technical expert during sales cycles.
