Job summary

Databricks is seeking experienced pre-sales professionals to lead technical strategy for large enterprise accounts, partnering with an AE to drive adoption of the Databricks Data + AI Platform. You will combine value selling, technical leadership and data-driven transformation across high‑tech and manufacturing use cases, while coordinating with hands-on resources for PoCs and demonstrations.

You will guide executives and influencers, build a network of technical champions, and align strategies

Qualifications

• Proficiency at establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within the account.
• Experience with very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts.
• Form relationships with executives and influencers.
• Present a convincing point-of-view to decision-makers.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• Data-driven business transformation and driving change with data.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification.

Responsibilities

• You work with multiple clients as the main technical voice for Databricks.
• You lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• You implement the technical strategy in the account with understanding of overall strategy.
• You build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• You align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• You provide structured mentorship for other team members.
• Gain the respect of peers based on experience and insights.
