Axon is seeking an Account Executive on the Corrections Sales Team to lead enterprise deals across multiple states, driving technology-driven transformation in state departments of corrections. You will build executive-level relationships, shape a compelling vision for change, and guide agencies from legacy systems to integrated workflows that improve safety and outcomes.

This remote-first role requires strong experience in public sector sales, multi-threaded selling, and the ability to navigate

Qualifications

• 8+ years of quota-carrying sales in enterprise/public sector.
• Experience leading multi-state or regional territories.
• Ability to lead multi-year sales cycles with executives and procurement.
• Experience closing high-value, multi-year deals in large orgs.
• Drive transformation in regulated environments with new technology.
• Sell with a strong point of view and urgency.
• Experience selling complex multi-product solutions in cross-functional teams.
• CRM expertise with pipeline forecasting and territory performance.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive strategy for a multi-state Corrections territory.
• Develop territory and account strategies for large, high-impact agencies.
• Lead complex, multi-year sales cycles with executive stakeholders.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships across state agencies.
• Navigate procurement, budgets, and RFPs to close opportunities.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams to win complex deals.
