Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective students through the enrollment process, coordinating admissions, documentation, and financial aid collaboration. This role emphasizes student-centered recruitment in a supportive, collaborative environment within a nationally recognized nursing college.

You will participate in campus events, maintain confidential student records per FERPA, and work with teams across Academic Records, Financial Aid, and Student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with Ellucian Recruit CRM or Colleague is helpful.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong customer service.
• MS Office proficiency and ability to access DOE websites (NSLDS, COD, CPS, etc.).
• Must be able to sit for eight hours; flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends.
• Minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and virtual admissions appointments and campus tours to prospective students.
• Communicate with prospective students via phone, emails, text messages and Galen systems.
• Maintain detailed communication documentation in the student information system/CRM.
• Guide applicants through enrollment steps: applications, docs, transcripts, test scores, etc.
• Schedule enrollment appointments and assist with financial planning and enrollment documents.
• Participate in local high school, college, and career fairs and campus events.
