Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective students through the decision and enrollment process. You will be the primary contact, answering questions, providing program information, and coordinating campus tours to help applicants choose the right path.

In this fast-paced role, you will follow up on inquiries across phone, email, chat, and social platforms, document interactions, verify prerequisites, and assist with financing paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a earned baccalaureate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in higher education, student recruitment, retention, or marketing preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and technical skills.
• Confident presence and customer-friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience with Recruit and/or Colleague preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on inquiries via phone, email, web chat, and social media.
• Input data and document follow-up with prospective students using Recruit and Colleague.
• Provide program information and give tours to prospective students.
• Notify accepted students and welcome them to the college.
• Explain transfer credits and enrollment requirements.
• Ensure students are oriented to program expectations and policies.
• Guide students through enrollment and ensure documentation is complete.
• Explain financing paperwork and assist with required documents.
