Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, is seeking an Assistant Engineering Project Manager to support engineering controls, cost scheduling, and procurement for high voltage substations and transmission projects in Austin, TX. You will work under the guidance of the Supervising Project Manager to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or other related field; applicable experience may substitute the degree.
Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; one year preferred.
Strong project controls experience in a Power/industrial environment is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse teams.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating engineering cost schedules and coordinating procurement for high voltage projects.
Support scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor management under the EPM.
Maintain project data, dashboards, and reports; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate status updates with engineering leads and stakeholders; escalate gaps.
Prepare meeting materials and documentation; support audit-ready project records.
