Job summary

Dashiell Corporation, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks an Assistant Project Manager in Westlake, TX to support turnkey high-voltage substations, transmission lines, and distribution projects. You will assist Project Managers, coordinate with Purchasing, and help prepare budgets, schedules, and change orders.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and multiple years of project/substation experience, plus willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Three years of experience in design, construction or operations of substations and/or transmission lines preferred.
• Three years of experience in supervision/management of budgets and work groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review cost, schedule, safety, quality, and completion of construction projects with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to expedite material as needed for construction.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of cash flows, monthly billing, change orders.
• Maintain monthly construction progress reports and re-projections.
• Assist with project estimates and pricing; support proposals or customer sales calls.
• Collaborate with Dacon, Field Service, Engineering, and Sales to resolve conflicts.
