Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Ohio manufacturing facility. The role leads maintenance and engineering teams supporting pharmaceutical packaging lines, implements maintenance strategy, and drives safety, compliance, and efficiency across FDP operations.

You will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Engineering and be involved in cross-site communications, SOP ownership, and continuous improvement initiatives. Travel ~15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related discipline with 3+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of related experience.
• Associate degree in Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma / GED with 12+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading teams or projects and allocating resources as part of managerial duties.
• Experience with packaging equipment and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and maintenance services to pharmaceutical packaging lines.
• Lead a team of maintenance and engineering personnel across commercial operations.
• Support maintenance strategy for equipment and systems and reduce downtime.
• Own and improve maintenance SOPs, job plans, and PMs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and manage selected contract service providers.
• Facilitate cross-site communication and deliver technical improvements to the site network.
• Travel approximately 15% to support site operations.
