Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a packaging engineering team in Ohio, overseeing commercial packaging operations for final and WIP products. You will drive reliability, compliance, and efficiency, partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to deliver high-quality products to patients.

The role emphasizes setting priorities, directing the packaging organization, and leading improvements across sites.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters, Bachelor's, Associate, or High School + 2+ years of people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of packaging engineers supporting commercial operations.
• Drive root cause analyses for deviations and implement CAPAs.
• Improve packaging line performance through reliable equipment and processes.
• Own packaging configurations, specs, and maintained qualified state.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and inspection readiness with cross-functional partners.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce downtime and waste.
