Job summary

Amgen in Ohio is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and engineering services for pharmaceutical packaging lines at our manufacturing site. You will coordinate a skilled team and drive improvements in safety, reliability, and efficiency.

You will mentor engineers, manage maintenance programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GMP-compliant operations and successful project execution. Travel around 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline and 5 years of related experience.
• Associate degree in Engineering or related discipline and 10 years of related experience.
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance for pharmaceutical packaging lines and equipment.
• Manage a team of maintenance and engineering personnel across operations.
• Support troubleshooting, triage, and process improvements on equipment.
• Develop and improve maintenance instructions, job plans, spare parts, and PMs.
• Coordinate with site network and vendors to ensure project execution.
