Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Senior Manager of Structural Loads & Dynamic Environments for Engines in CA to lead a distributed team supporting New Glenn and lunar programs. You will develop FEMs, load databooks, and engine environments, ensuring rigorous standards and cross-site alignment.

You will provide technical direction, drive complex problem resolution, and mentor engineers across time zones, delivering trustworthy environments and evidence-based requirements.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering (or equivalent).
• 7+ years aerospace structural analysis and/or structural dynamics experience.
• 3+ years project and/or people management experience.
• Proven technical leadership across structural/dynamic disciplines; evidence-based judgments.
• Ability to engage technically in reviews and resolve issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication across time zones and sites.
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for U.S. employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-program Structural Loads & Dynamic Environments organization.
• Own execution plans across development, qualification, production, and flight-support phases.
• Provide technical leadership; set direction and maintain standards.
• Engage in complex issues: environment translation, load margins, model-test gaps, acoustics.
• Drive verification, correlation, and closure with test inputs/outputs.
• Identify and mitigate structural/dynamic risks; communicate impacts to leadership.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations to capture interfaces.
• Hire, develop, and lead engineers across multiple sites; coach technical growth.
