Job summary

Blue Origin Engines is seeking a Senior Manager of Structural Loads and Dynamic Environments to lead a distributed team across locations. You will oversee environment definitions, load case derivations, and FEM development while aligning with vehicle programs like New Glenn and lunar missions.

You will provide high-level technical leadership, engage in critical reviews, and ensure consistency in interface definitions and documentation. Strong communication across time zones is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• 7+ years aerospace structural analysis and/or structural dynamics experience for flight hardware.
• 3+ years project or people management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership across multiple disciplines and to judge based on evidence.
• Ability to engage technically in reviews and discussions and to go deep selectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-program Structural Loads & Dynamic Environments organization.
• Provide technical leadership and set direction for loads and dynamic environment definition.
• Collaborate with design, analysis, test, and systems teams to resolve complex issues.
• Drive verification, correlation, and closure with test inputs/outputs and risk management.
• Manage technical risk and communicate implications to leadership.
• Coordinate across interfaces and lead a geographically distributed team.
