Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Structural Analyst/Engineer to lead advanced structural analyses for the New Glenn program. You will guide project teams, develop FEM-based models, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test groups to ensure structural integrity and efficiency.

The role requires a strong background in FEA, materials, and dynamics, with proven leadership and communication abilities. This on-site position in Florida offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in structural analysis.
• Strong understanding of material properties, failure mechanisms, and structural dynamics.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and teams.
• Proven ability to write technical reports and present results to multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct advanced structural analysis for aerospace components and systems.
• Lead project teams, manage deliverables, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Perform structural analyses using FEA and other methods on diverse designs and materials (composites, metals).
• Develop and validate analytical models to simulate structural performance under various conditions.
• Mentor junior analysts/engineers and provide technical guidance to design teams.
