Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Engagement Manager II to lead customer success initiatives for major commerce and manufacturing clients. You will own outcomes, guide architecture decisions, and mentor cross-functional teams in delivering web performance, cloud, and security solutions.

You will collaborate with sales and pre-sales to expand services, manage pipelines, and drive strong customer satisfaction across remote and distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role and understanding of the consulting process
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or its equivalent
• Experience managing and delivering large technical programs
• Knowledge of DevOps, web performance, and core internet technologies such as DNS, TLS, and HTTP
• Familiar with compute technologies and architecture principles for cloud-based systems

Responsibilities

• Owning customer success and being the trusted advisor that helps customers achieve their desired outcomes using Akamai solutions.
• Performing research and assessments to identify trends and provide guidance that influences customer architecture and adoption decisions
• Architecting and managing web performance, cloud computing and security solutions.
• Defining an account strategy, establishing key relationships, and building and maintaining a project pipeline.
• Leading and mentoring a cross functional team, cultivating a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and excellence.
• Partnering with sales and pre-sales to help expand the use of services and solutions
