Job summary

SpartanNash in Omaha, NE is seeking an Associate Engagement Coordinator to drive the employment life cycle for the store. You will manage full cycle recruiting in Workday, lead onboarding, orientation, and support training, safety and compliance while partnering with local HR.

You’ll own store engagement programs, handle terminations and I-9 processing, and help create a people-first culture with strong communication and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; college coursework in HR preferred.
• 1 year HR administrative support or coursework required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Attention to detail, data entry, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting process in Workday, including posting jobs and coordinating interviews.
• Complete job offers and onboarding processing in Workday.
• Prepare orientation for store as needed and partner with local HR Business Partner.
• Own the first 90 days of employment to validate training and drive retention.
• Own store engagement programs, recognition activities and daily communications.
• Handle confidentiality, I-9 processing, and compliance at store level.
• Assist with scheduling and workforce reporting for store operations.
